These are the days...busy with christmas meetings, christmas shopping/ gift making. And in the meantime I spent a good time in my studio. I found a new timelapse app called 'Hyperlapse' that works perfectly fine on my samsung phone -jeej! This makes video shooting much easier and so much more fun.

Tropical jungle layering
In this video you'll see me starting a new painting on 3 canvases.
- Beginning with a blank canvas (with some few marks from earlier painting sessions), adding warm colors and enjoying the dripping, rolling, scraping, fingerpainting - activating the canvas.
- Adding more colours, collage and variation with different brushes and stamps.
- Adding imagery using handmade paper templates.
- Creating space by quieting down the background with semi-transparent paint creating depth.

And now it's holidays!!!
I packed up and boxed my complete improvised art studio to make room for the holiday guests and I will give my creative fingers some days off. Being back in 2017-whoop whoop!
