IN THE STUDIO
First, I want to thank you for your great feedback and comments on last weeks blogpost. It is so nice to be connected. Thank you.
Next, some fun news
I am very glad to announce that I started a new kids-collection and it is now in a cute little babystore Draagkracht in Utrecht. If you have the chance, check it out!
Especially the butterflies with the name of the child is perfect to cheer up the baby room. They are so cute. And it is a wonderful gift for your friends or family newborns. They are all unique, handmade with mixed-media and all close to my heart.
If you are interested, please send me a message.
And I got something even more personal: I will help you do it yourself. I will provide everything you need to make a cute little piece of love in a workshop at Draagkracht Utrecht (or other places if you like to). You don't have to be an artist yourself, some curiosity and open heart is enough to make something beautiful! First workshop will be mid March 2017, more dates will follow soon.
A view inside my art studio
Today on the menu is a big, colourful butterfly.
Yesterday, in a shop I saw mindblowing butterflies, real framed reserved ones. I couldn't stop watching their STRAHLENDE colours. The beauty of them is just astonisching. It remembered me of the precious moments in Suriname where I could observe tropical butterflies. They make me smile, they make me joyful and remind me of the bright side of life. So I couldn't help but jump into my art studio this morning and start another butterfly painting for my collection.
